Who We Are ○

Cody Enriquez

Cody Enriquez is the chef behind all of the madness that is Glorified Foods. He has been cooking his entire adult life, and has had the honor and privilege of working under 7 great and completely different chefs. 

Cody says that the best chef he has ever worked for is Chef Failure. He’s a self-trained chef who has learned mostly from his own mistakes. Every chef has an idol, and Cody’s happens to be Willy Wonka because he believes that imagination is a powerful tool when it comes to food and life itself. When his cooking skills finally caught up with his imagination, he felt he was ready to embark on the journey that went on to become The Local restaurant in Abilene, Texas. After a few wonderful years at The Local, Cody wanted to expand outside of just contemporary Mexican food, and that’s how Glorified Foods came to be. He is now the Executive Chef at The Local and Glorified Foods.

Cody would like to thank two folks who have helped him on this adventure and have gone on to become life-long friends: Justin and Alex Russell. He is extremely grateful to them for their trust with such big projects, and is forever in their debt.
